Irina Stropșa is a new member of the AICE team. She is currently coordinating the English Access Microscholarship Program, which operates in four remote regions: Șoldănești, Dondușeni, Ștefan-Vodă, and Leova. Having a 13-year long experience in teaching, she succeeded to make students fall in love with the English language and culture. Due to her well-developed sense of humour, creative approach and ability to give constructive criticism, she always has productive communication with people of different ages.

Young professional with a passion for arts, event planning, and communication. Daniela has recently graduated with honors from the Technical University of Moldova and received her Master’s degree in the field of Architecture. She has won a scholarship ti study for a semester in the USA, at the University of Arkansas, through the Global UGRAD exchange program.
Daniela has over 8 years of volunteering experience at Gender-Center NGO. She was a Young European Ambassador in Moldova in the framework of the “Young European Neighbours” network for almost 2 years. Daniela participated in 7 Erasmus + projects across Europe and worked as the logistics coordinator at the International English Foreign Language summer program.

Irina has more than 7 years of experience in traditional journalism and 3 years of experience in Social Media. Her B.A. is in Media and Communications from the Anglo-American University in Prague, Czechia, and my M.A. is in Global Media Studies from Stockholm University in Stockholm, Sweden. Her hobbies are reading and exploring, but also marketing and PR.

Natalia Rata is one of our most experienced educators, with a 12-year long experience in teaching English as a foreign language from Drochia. She is well known for her active involvement in different educational national and international projects and her openness to learning new things and improving her professional background. She is an alumna of as “EFL Blogging School for Moldovan Teachers - First Edition”, “iEngage”, “Teaching English through Conflict Resolution Games and Simulations” and “EFL Youth Voices”. She is one of the leading members of the iEARN-Moldova National Teacher and Student Network who has successfully implemented several online service learning projects such as ”My Hero and Me”, ‘Teddy Bear” and many others. She is a strong leader and a motivating educator always ready to bring changes in her community, proven by her active collaboration with the Moldovan English Teachers Association (META) in the northern part of the country, where she has a solid impact in connecting the association with other English teachers from her region.

Evghenia Protiuc is a promising educator from Tiraspol, having a previous experience in Holland as an au-pair ( 2010-2011) and 5 years of English Language teaching at the Romanian Lyceum “Lucian Blaga” from Tiraspol and educational center “Interpret”. Evghenia is currently working at LTC “Smart” in Tiraspol, and is an active participant in the 2 local projects, namely: “EFL Youth Voice” and “North Carolina-Moldova Service Learning School Partnership”, provided for Moldovan teachers by American Councils Moldova and Academy for Innovation and Change through Education. Both projects are financially supported by US Embassy to Moldova.

I have an active collaboration with the other educators from our country and adroad too. I am a Meta member and participate in all new educational seminars,workshops and trainings from our district and country.Also I have the great opportunity to become an ACCESS e-teacher and a participant in the new"North Carolina-Moldova Service Learning School Partnership" project.

Rața Alexandra, graduated the "B.P. Hasdeu" High School from Drochia. Alexandra participated in many regional, national and international projects and contests, such as "Technovation Challenge", "A home for every street dog" charity initiative and " Welcoming Europe in our Homes” project. She has also engaged in the "EFL Blogging School for Moldovan Teachers" workshop, "Write-On” Competition, Wave Week Moldova Summer School, GLOW/TOBE Summer School, "Promoting Tolerance and Diversity with the support of local journalists and high school students " essay contest. Alexandra implemented her own project - "A colorful world", volunteered for the Maternal Center "Ariadna", participated in "My Hero Learning Circle” iEARN project and "Politehnica Timisoara - a step towards your future" contest.

Svetlana Shpak

Svetlana Shpak is an experienced translator, project manager and teacher of English and German languages from Tiraspol. She has worked for the “Interpret” Educational Center and is now employed with “Agency for Regional Development of Transnistria” and “SMART” Languages and Translations Center from Tiraspol. She has participated in various international initiatives, such as “EFL Youth Voices” and “My Hero” iEARN projects.

Tatiana Sclifos is a young educator from Criuleni. She started her career in 2010 as a teacher of English and French languages. From 2011 to 2013 Tatiana collaborated with a Peace Corps volunteer. She completed the ”EFL Blogging School” National Project and engaged her students in the ”Global Youth Service Day” initiative. Tatiana is also an active citizen and often gets involved in many local community development projects.
