On May 6 over 120 teachers and students from all around Moldova participated in the ”EFL Service Learning Conference” which showcased most successful civic engagement initiatives implemented to celebrate Global Youth Service Day in April. Most active teachers received recognition diplomas for their efforts in integrating service learning methodologies in school curricula. Their students prepared service learning posters and videos which participated in the conference contest. Our special guest from Ministry of Education, Valentina Ichim, Head of eTransformation Department greeted all participants and congratulated them on a successful engagement in the celebration of Global Youth Service Day event on a national level.
